Prepare for your repair

Apple will not allow devices to be repaired if the iCloud 'Find My’ setting is enabled. This is for your protection and relevant to:
- Mac from 2018 onwards
- iPhone
- iPad
- Apple Watch
Disable Find My from the iCloud settings. If you are unable to access controls on the device (maybe because it won’t come on), please refer to this article for instruction.
How much will it cost?
If covered by Apple warranty you will not pay for parts or labour. Otherwise, we provide a quotation for parts and labour upon diagnosis.
- Shipping fees may apply, even if parts and labour are covered by the terms of warranty or AppleCare
Service Centre
KRCS are an Apple Authorised Service Provider, operating from an authorised workshop location within our head office location.
We support all Apple device repairs on a mail in basis. Please email info@krcs.co.uk with details of your device and our team will advise on available service options. If your device was purchased from KRCS, please include those details.
Our education and business customers can contact their account manager who will be able to provide further information.
Mac repairs
KRCS offer genuine repairs for your Mac. Our trained technicians use Apple diagnostic tools and genuine Apple parts to get you back up and running. Unlike some other service providers, nearly all Mac repairs are completed without your Mac having to be shipped elsewhere, reducing turnaround times and the impact on our environment of unnecessary shipping. Mac repairs are typically completed within 5 working days.
Diagnosis fees may apply to out-of-warranty Macs not purchased from KRCS, and shipping fees may apply.
iPhone, iPad & Apple Watch repairs
We understand how inconvenient it is to be without your device, especially an iPhone, so we’re pleased to say that Apple has a nationwide network of Apple Stores and other retail locations where same-day repair or replacement is available, including same-day screen replacement using genuine Apple screens.
For certain symptoms and repairs, Apple may request that your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch is sent in to a central facility for service. This is known as 'mail-in' service and extends repair times.
To request service for your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, or any other Apple device, please contact info@krcs.co.uk with details of the device and symptoms. Our team will be able to provide details of how to complete that repair at KRCS, or else signpost to other authorised repair locations which may be more convenient for you.
