Here at KRCS we're constantly trying to improve our offering to customers, but we know that this isn't possible without the right personnel. So do you think you've got what it takes to work for one of the most successful Apple partners in the UK?

The foundations of KRCS are firmly based on a vast knowledge of Apple hardware and software, from the very first Macs through to the latest iOS technologies.

Applicants for our retail stores should have at least a foundation of Mac OS knowledge, and a good level of iOS literacy. Great communication skills and the ability to transmit your enthusiasm for all things Apple.

A track record in retail or other sales environments is preferred, but if you haven't sold anything professionally before we may be the ideal place for you to prove your skill!

At our head office we're always on the lookout for talented Apple qualified engineers, and Apple savvy sales people with a proven track record of sales to Business or Education. Please apply with 'Head Office' as your location of choice if this is the sort of environment that you thrive in. Personal Data relating to recruitment

KRCS receive personal information in the form of CV’s and covering letters from applicants for roles within our business. This information is shared internally only with the line manager responsible for undertaking that recruitment process, and also the directors of the business.

For successful candidates we retain the information (either in electronic format, or on paper, or both) in our personal records for the legitimate purpose of holding enough information to contact the staff member, their next of kin, make salary payments and other HR activities.

For unsuccessful candidates we retain the information for three months following the conclusion of the recruitment, for the purpose of resolving any questions, appeals or reviews of that recruitment process. After three months time the information is permanently deleted or destroyed.

Apple Internal Sales & Support Executive

KRCS are looking for a new member of our Internal Sales and Customer Support Team. Based out of our Nottingham Head Office, you will be joining one of the longest-established UK Apple Resellers.

Our internal team work with our customers over the telephone, ZenDesk ticketing system and social media to provide pre and post-sales support. The team help with customer enquiries, quotations, winning business, service and support enquiries and every other question that our customers want to ask!

You will be working with customers across all areas of our business. Our particular specialisms are iPad and Mac solutions for consumers, schools and all kinds of small business.

There is also a marketing element to this role, where you will help us to maintain a regular outbound twitter campaign, guided by our Marketing Manager, and also get involved with writing blogs to promote the important areas of our business.

Our ideal candidate would have a combination of the following qualities :-

  • A strong interest in Apple technology, and willingness to learn and understand the professional and educational customer-solutions that we sell. Some level of technical understanding of MacOS and iOS would be helpful, although this is not a technical role.
  • A keen interest in sales and the process of quoting customers after understanding their requirements.
  • A great telephone manner, and the patience to listen to customer issues and find the best resolution, using all the resources of KRCS.
  • Be inquisitive, and have a desire to learn about new technologies and services, so you can talk knowledgeably about these to our customers.
  • The ability to write simple tweets and short blogs to help promote our key products and services.

The role involves the following main responsibilities :-

  • Supporting our customers over the telephone with pre-sale, support and post-sale enquiries.
  • Creating quotations for Apple solutions, based on customer requirements, and promoting all the products and services that KRCS offer.
  • Learning and understanding all the solutions we offer, including our Managed Service for Schools, business leasing programs and our retail offers.
  • Supporting all of our customers who make contact and projecting a professional manner at all times.
  • Managing a list of ongoing situations and ensuring all of them are dealt with to the customers satisfaction.
  • Preparing tweets and blogs to be posted on our web site and social media platforms.

 

We are based in Nottingham and you would need to be able to commute to our head office and work from there. We are located at Queens Court, Lenton Lane, Nottingham.

Basic salary will be £21,000 per annum with 22 days of bookable holiday (plus bank holidays).

Derby Retail Store

Service Technician - Deadline for applications Monday 1st November 2021

We’re looking for a quality candidate to work within our Derby store. With a blend of technical and administrative roles this job will require some administration skills and experience with iPhone, iPad and iPod. Prior experience working in IT is not required. The successful candidate will receive industry accreditation from Apple, on top of support from highly experienced technicians.

Nottingham Head Office, Lenton Lane

Service Technician - Deadline for applications Monday 1st November 2021

We’re looking for a new member of the team to join our existing team of technicians, working from KRCS head office on Lenton Lane in Nottingham.

Hundreds of repairs are processed each week from this service centre, and we're looking for somebody to join the team predominantly working on iPhone.

Most of the AppleCare warranty and out of warranty repair appointments are booked in by Apple for repairs to be completed same-day, using only genuine Apple parts and tools. A typical repair requires replacing the screen, battery or camera in an iPhone. This same team also handles iPad and AirPod service appointments.

Full training is provided, and the successful candidate will achieve the Apple Certified Technician accreditation for iPhone (ACiT) and can work towards the Apple Certified Mac Technician accreditation (ACMT).
