Productivity from an Application

Applications have become a massive part of our daily lives. They help us reach people through instant messaging, allow us to post pictures of a lunch or the coffee we’ve just had, and can even track our health and exercise information. Applications can also help productivity though. Whether you’re a student, self-employed or work in an office there’s going to be an application to help you.

Here at KRCS we use a lot of applications to aid productivity so we thought we’d go around the office and see which ones are used most frequently. Maybe some of them can help you too!

Evernote

One of the most renowned productivity apps, Evernote, is a great way to get organised. It allows you to take notes, create to-do lists, even save things you find online. The best part about Evernote though is its cross-platform. No matter your device, you’ll always have access to your information. Evernote has a great number of business dedicated features which some of our employees use, including the ability to create agendas, memos, and craft presentations.

It’s ideal for people who need to keep an accurate log of the time they have worked and how valuable that time is. Tyme can also keep track of mileage clocked, simply set the time running and the app will track your mileage through GPS. All of your tracked projects will conveniently be synced to your calendar of choice. Tyme is also cross-platform, offering a mobile and desktop application.
