Even the most tech-savvy of us sometimes struggle to know which version of Thunderbolt our iMac has or what Apple USB cable will connect our Mac mini to our Time Machine drive. Even which version of power adaptor will work with a relatives MacBook Pro can stump us and we thought, "Why isn't there a way to easily find this out?!". It turns out, it took us a little bit of work but... We had the technology and, our Apple Device Accessory Compatibility tool was born!

You can now check your iPhone, iPad or Mac and see which cable or accessory is right for your device, even if you aren't sure exactly which model you have. We've listed Apple's model number, SKU and device name, with the production years of each generation, so you can be certain you've tracked down the right model. There are even links through to our store so you can buy the items you need, with free next working day delivery on in-stock items that are ordered before 2 pm.

We'll be updating the tool to include newly released Apple products, cables and accessories as well as expanding the range of products covered.
