FirstClass Managed Service for Schools

FirstClass Managed Service for Schools is a subscription based service and part of the KRCS FirstClass Programme for schools. Underpinned by best in class Jamf Pro management tools, leveraging best practice from Apple and controlled by KRCS technicians with a wealth of experience managing devices, a subscription to our FirstClass Managed Service will take all day to day device management tasks away from your school.

From as little as £1.06 per device, per month, a subscription will provide:

Troubleshooting and technical support
App deployment
Access to KRCS 2nd line support
Configuration management
Device management by best in class MDM

Integration with Apple programs and other school systems
Device registration with Apple enrolment programs*
Infrastructure assessment*
Deployment strategy consultation
Setup assistance for Apple deployment programs

In addition to these services, KRCS offer bolt-ons to the FirstClass Managed Service subscription which will give access to:

Apple Professional Learning. Onsite training delivered by Apple accredited education trainer
Scheduled maintenance and consultancy days in your school
Onsite technical assistance days to mentor school staff or assist with device deployments
Onsite swap out of iPad repairs**

Included devices

iPad, iPhone and iPod touch enroled in Apple's Device Enrolment Program, or capable of running iOS 11 or later
macOS devices capable of running macOS X 10.11 El Capitan or later
Apple TV devices capable of running tvOS 11 or later

A subscription including macOS devices will require an onsite file share distribution point, the cost of which is not included in a FirstClass managed service.

Quarterly, termly, annually

The minimum term of a FirstClass Managed Service subscription is 12 months, with the subscription payable in quarterly, termly or annual instalments. Renewals are also based on a 12 month cycle. Cancelling a subscription is possible with 30 days written notice and cancellation fees may apply if mid-subscription.

A subscription based on less than 25 devices (made up of any mix of supported devices) will be subject to a licensing levy to cover base costs of the subscription.
