Micklehurst All Saints C of E Primary School

In 2020, Micklehurst All Saints C of E Primary School began exploring ways to modernise their outdated ICT suite. However, they soon decided that simply replacing old computers wouldn't align with their long-term vision for learning.

Through a series of meetings and presentations with KRCS, the school recognised the value and broad scope of the teaching and learning opportunities offered by iPad and prepared to deploy devices across all year groups. To ensure success, an Apple Professional Learning Program was introduced for training all teaching staff alongside comprehensive technical support through our Managed Service for Schools.

But the real stars of the journey are the school’s iPad Digital Leaders — a team of enthusiastic pupils from across all year groups, each selected through a formal interview process. These students run creative lunchtime workshops, support classroom activities, and are always ready to lend a hand to their teachers.
