The Synology DS223j is a compact and energy-efficient Network Attached Storage (NAS) device designed for small teams. It offers secure and easy access to data from anywhere - multi-platform file access - real-time collaboration - and data protection features such as snapshot technology and Btrfs file system. The DS223j has two drive bays and supports 3.5" SATA HDD and 2.5" SATA SSD with an optional disk holder. It has a Realtek RTD1619B 4-core 1.7 GHz CPU - 1 GB DDR4 non-ECC memory - one 1GbE RJ-45 port - and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. The device runs on Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) - which offers features such as file services - storage management - and account and shared folder management. The device comes with a 2-year hardware warranty - which can be extended up to 4 years with Extended Warranty Plus.
