The Synology DS224+ is a compact and energy-efficient Network Attached Storage (NAS) device designed for small teams to centralise data management. It offers secure and easy access to data from anywhere - multi-platform file access - real-time collaboration - and data protection features such as snapshot technology and Btrfs file system.

With two drive bays and support for 3.5" SATA HDD and 2.5" SATA SSD and an Intel Celeron processor - 2 GB DDR4 non-ECC memory - two 1GbE RJ-45 port - and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. The device runs on Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) - which offers features such as file services - storage management - and account and shared folder management. The device comes with a 2-year hardware warranty - which can be extended up to 4 years with Extended Warranty Plus.
