Bramshall Meadows First School

As the children at Bramshall Meadows arrived for the first day of the new school year, they were completely unaware of the surprise waiting for them in their classrooms. In just under an hour, 80 pupils from Years 1 to 3 unboxed and set up their own iPad, each one ready for learning, thanks to the KRCS Managed Service.

Every child was provided with a Tucano Alunno protective case, which they fitted themselves, and a Tucano Active Stylus. The accessories had been personalised by Tucano with the school name and colour logo, helping each device feel like a valued part of the Bramshall Meadows learning environment and reinforcing a sense of school pride as pupils began using them.

Giving the children the freedom to open and set up their own device created a real sense of excitement and ownership. What felt like magic to the pupils was actually the result of careful planning behind the scenes. Every iPad was preconfigured by the KRCS team, ensuring the right settings, apps, safeguarding features, and filtering were in place straight out of the box.

This meant teachers focused on welcoming pupils rather than navigating technical hurdles, and the children were able to dive straight into creative, interactive learning within the hour. The seamless setup saved valuable classroom time and set the tone for a school year powered by technology that truly supports teaching and learning.
