KRCS Statement on the Sale of Our High Street Stores

KRCS today confirms the sale of our Nottingham and Derby high street retail stores to Select Technology Group, who have now officially announced their acquisition of those locations. We are pleased to see these stores continue as thriving Apple retail destinations under Select’s ownership, and we wish the teams and their new colleagues every success.

This sale forms part of a planned and strategic shift in KRCS’ business focus. We are currently working to achieve a similar outcome for our remaining high street store in Hull. Concluding that process will mark the end of our 25+ years as a high street retailer—something we look back on with pride and great fondness.

While this is a meaningful milestone, it represents a relatively small part of who we are as a business today. The core of KRCS has always been, and will continue to be, our work as:

• Apple Premium Education Partner
• Apple Authorised Reseller for business
• Online Store for Apple products
• Apple Authorised Service Provider supporting both education and business customers

These areas represent the majority of our business today—and our strongest opportunities for future growth.

KRCS continues to expand rapidly through our established education and business sales teams, our service operations, and our online store. We are proud to have recently been appointed onto two major national purchasing frameworks in education, and we are experiencing accelerated growth across our B2B organisation. Our deepening partnership with Jamf for whom KRCS have recently been appointed as a top tier 'Elite Partner', alongside our professional services and managed services capabilities, continues to be a central pillar of that growth strategy.
