How does Easy Upgrade work?

ChooseChoose your Mac, iPad, iPhone or Apple Watch from our online store and select ‘Apply for Easy Upgrade’. This will take you into the Easy Upgrade portal to select your model, choose the term you would like to pay over and add any accessories.

PayComplete the Easy Upgrade application online and receive an immediate decision. You'll need your mobile phone for the application. If your Easy Upgrade application is accepted, you'll have to make a 5% upfront payment and you will receive confirmation of your order via email.

UpgradeAt the end of your chosen repayment period (depending on device and agreement) we will get in touch to let you know how to return the device in a pre-agreed condition. You are then ready to upgrade to the latest Mac, iPad, iPhone or Apple Watch. Alternatively, you can continue to pay the balance and keep the device.

ChooseVisit a KRCS store. Choose your Mac, iPad, iPhone or Apple Watch, add accessories, and one of our experts will show you the monthly repayment amounts. Got a pre-loved device? Trade it in and apply it's value to your new purchase to reduce your monthly payments.

PayIf you don’t have a Klarna account you'll need your email address, phone number, and valid photo ID like a driving licence or passport. Klarna will send you a link to complete the application on your own device and if your application is accepted you'll need a make a 5% upfront payment.

UpgradeAt the end of your chosen repayment period (depending on device and agreement) return the device in a pre-agreed condition and we will settle the balance of your agreement. You are then ready to upgrade to the latest Mac, iPad, iPhone or Apple Watch. Alternatively, you can continue to pay the balance and keep the device.

FAQs
- Be 18 or older.
- Be in permanent paid employment (over 16 hours a week), retired (receiving a pension), in receipt of a disability benefit, or self-employed.
- Have been resident in the UK for at least 3 years and will continue to reside in the UK.
- Have a debit or credit card in your name and registered to your address.

- When applying and upgrading in store - Please bring a valid form of photo identification as it is required during the application process (e.g. your or drivers license)
- Power on and hold a charge
- Have no functional faults found
- Have an intact and functioning display, ports, speakers, cameras and input methods (including capacitive input, trackpad, buttons and keys, as appropriate)
- Displays should have no distortion or discolouration
- Have no breaks, cracks, chips, deep scratches or excessive wear
- Have activation lock and any account locks or restrictions removed/disabled (you may be asked to disable at the time of upgrade)
- The desktop, setup display or Disk Utility display must be seen and inspected by an individual appointed by KRCS or our recycling partner(s)
- No distortions or discolouration of the display or screen glass
- Have no severe scratches on top or bottom enclosure deeper than 3mm
- Have no dents larger than 13mm in length and larger than 6mm deep (3mm deep in corners)
- Provide the original charger, power cable, keyboard, mouse and any other peripherals provided with the product when it was purchased in working condition
