iOS Deployment: A device management checklist

The summer term is the most popular time of year for institutions to review their ICT provision. Whether they have previously invested in an iPad solution and are expanding or, this is your first experience with introducing Apple devices, it’s an ideal opportunity to think and plan ahead.

We’ve put together this short, helpful checklist which highlights the major items which we have found can be missed before and sometimes after purchasing new devices. It is broken down into relevant sections, with questions, considerations and highlights the items you may wish to review. Some are specifically aimed at ICT technicians, some for curriculum leaders and some for the senior management team, so to complete this checklist fully will require input from staff in different parts of the institution.
