KRCS Group and Mondale Events invite you to the Education Technology Exhibition & Conference at Donington Park, Derby. We're proud to hold our interactive conference at this iconic venue, home to the Grand Prix Collection.

You'll find all the information you need for the day here, from booking your tickets to the variety of workshops you can attend and get involved with. The day will be filled with interactive sessions, keynote speakers, new products (exclusive to the show) and an opportunity to 'Ask the Education Specialist'.

Each delegate will receive a goodie bag with information about the day and a voucher to claim a free STM Dux iPad case worth up to £49.99 from the STM exhibition stand. Also included will be a copy of Jay Ashcroft’s book worth £11.99 - don't forget to get it signed! Other items will also be included from our exhibitors on the day.

Guest Speakers

We'll be joined by Abdul Chohan, of Essa Academy, one of the UK’s most successful schools, Joe Moretti, Apple Education Trainer & Distinguished Expert, works alongside schools all over the world on the successful implementation and integration of the iPad into lessons, and Jay Ashcroft, a school improvement expert, who specialises in improving school performance by making technology simple and effective.

In addition to our guest speakers, the KRCS education team and Chris Smith, Apple Distinguised Educator and Neil Emery from TrilbyTV will be available on the day. With many years of classroom experience between them, please take the opportunity to let them answer your questions on teaching, learning, technology and pedagogy.

Workshops

There will be opportunity for you to attend workshops presented by our speakers, on how to use mobile technology for Assessment, Curriculum Delivery, Transforming Learning and Leadership.

Workshop: Making it Work
Presenter: Abdul Chohan

Coming from his recent opening keynote at BETT, Abdul Chohan will follow his ‘Leadership Perspective’ presentation with ‘Making it Work’ to show you how mobile technology can be used to deliver curriculum content and assess it in return, using iTunes U and Showbie. Essa Academy have developed a proven workflow of Apps for their teaching and learning which Abdul will share with you in the workshop.

Workshop: Digital Signage content creation tools for student voice, teacher sharing and community engagement.

There are a plethora of apps available on all platforms that easily allow for the creation and showcasing of amazing and engaging content perfect for Digital Signage. In this session we will explore some of the latest tools being used in classrooms to share and celebrate all around the world.

Workshop: Death Comes to Donington
Presenter: Joe Moretti

Criminal Minds Presents an iBeacon Murder Mystery, "Death Comes To Donington” is their fourth Murder Mystery release, where content is triggered by iBeacons as you explore the venue. Working in teams, you need to sift through the evidence, seek out clues and interrogate witnesses to reveal the murderer in this interactive sleuthing experience, all through a single application on your iPad!
